ABSTRACT
The article analyzes the situation of choosing the historical path of development of the Russian society that has survived the pandemic in the conditions of increasing instability of the world order. The planetary spread of the COVID-19 virus, across national boundaries, has highlighted the strengths and weaknesses of global integration on a global scale and, at the same time, showed the reserves of national solutions to economic and cultural problems in a difficult social situation. The author defines the specifics of the civilizational development of the country, which determines decision-making in the management of social processes. The negative influence of the pro-Western model of civilizational development on strengthening the stability of Russian society has been substantiated. The result of the study is the substantiation of the provision on the crisis of the globalization project, the signs of which are the inability of the world community to ensure intercultural interaction and consolidate in solving problems affecting the interests of all people of the planet (pandemic, poverty, etc.), as well as the refusal to recognize Russian achievements in the fight against COVID-19. Планетарное рас- пространение вируса COVID-19, осуществлявшееся невзирая на государственные и национальные гра- ницы, высветило сильные и слабые стороны мировой интеграции в глобальном масштабе и одновременно обнаружило резервы для национального решения экономических, политических и культурных проблем в сложной социальной ситуации. Автор описывает специфику современного цивилизационного развития страны, определяющую принятие решений в управлении социальными процессами. Раскрыто негативное влияние прозападной модели цивилизационного развития на укрепление стабильности российского обще- ства. Результатом исследования является обоснование положения о кризисе западного проекта глобали- зации, признаком которого выступает неспособность мирового сообщества обеспечить межкультурное вза- имодействие и консолидироваться в решении проблем, затрагивающих интересы всех людей планеты (пан- демия, бедность и т.д.), а также отказ признания российских достижений в борьбе с COVID-19.
